Pre-Care Instructions
- Arrive at your appointment with clean, freshly washed skin.
- Try not to apply any mascara or eye makeup the day of your treatment—a clean canvas can ensure the lifting solution works as it should without interruptions.
- A lot of our patients find they have a better time staying still if they avoid caffeine beforehand. Caffeine can make you feel jittery, which isn’t ideal when you’re lying down for treatment.
- You will need to remove your contacts before your lash lift, so make sure you bring something to store them in.
If you have any skin sensitivities, please let us know before we begin your session. You’re welcome to bring headphones or other audible items to keep you occupied while you wait for your lash lift.
Post-Care Instructions
After your lash lift in Denville, we encourage you to engage in some key steps to keep your curled lashes looking their best.
- For the first day or so, avoid getting your eyelashes wet. We ask that you adhere to this waiting period to allow the lifting solution to set perfectly.
- Make sure to be gentle with your newly curled eyelashes. We suggest using an oil-free cleanser, and avoiding heavy mascaras that might weigh your eyelashes down. You can also use nourishing serums to keep your eyelashes hydrated and healthy.
- Please avoid rubbing your eyes after getting your lash lift. Too much pressure can disrupt the lift and may even cause unnecessary eyelash shedding.
